I presume 318 with the fender ESC. Call me ignorant, but I'm pretty sure even the electronic spark control (ESC) engines had a ballast and a ECM. Its got 2 pigtails coming out of the distributor, right? http://ramchargercentral.com/media/?sa=item;in=1061There is a specific way to bypass the ESC computer and detailed in the MP instructions that come with the kit. However, its cheaper to source the parts from a JY rather than buying the kit. The carb on that should be a 2280/6280. Consider the idle solenoid for inspection/broken wires as well as choke function.

I had a 86 Ram/C.Nice truck. It did not have anything on the air cleaner, just the control unit by the battery.Only thing I did to mine was get a carb for a 1969 318.That made a difference.
Nautilus Racing- We use Superformance gaskets and Turbo Action converters/products.

I wasn't sure if it should have had the lean burn but I figured being an 86 it should have an ECU and Ballast resistor but it doesn't. No vacuum advance on the distributor either.

No vac advance or ECU.It's all in the controller by the battery.
