As you all know I have a 70 Dart, and I have been toying with the idea of putting a Hemi in. And I was wondering if there were any of the early 70's Darts that were built and run in S/S or P/S back in the 70's? I thought Sox and Martin had one, but I can't find it. My dad and I were talking about maybe painting the car up as a tribute car with the hemi, but unfortunately I don't think there is anything for it to be a tribute to? Am I wrong? Thanks.

Hey guys thanks for the info, and if you have any more let me know. I'm not sure if I want to repaint the car as a tribute, or if I just want to put my own spin on it, while having the nostalgia feel. I want to make the car look like a nostalgia pro stocker, but I still want to continue to race it regularly.

Sox & Martin raced Plymouths and never had a Dodge Dart Swinger, but as others have posted there were a few others out there back then, and they did look really good. Any idea what colors you might go with on your car, how about an old school lace paint job.

Not Sure what color I would do, old school lace would would be cool. I will have to look at colors closer when I get closer to doing something.
