J Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,590 Indy	I made an offer to buy the show which gained me Norwalk and Columbus Dates Offer was accepted I called national trails in columbus and introduced myself and wanted to get some dialogue started with the track. They explained to me that monster Mopar would not be granted a date at their track. They had some wierd notion that I had partnered with blankinships. Once that was cleared up there was no reason for me to purchase the company as I was confident in earning the Norwalk date on my own merit which I did.

Norwalk is 2nd weekend in September like always Indy is shaping up to be last weekend in June St Louis was going to be the 2nd weekend in May, but it appears the track bumped us off their schedule for the Super Chevy Mopar Action wannabe mopar thing

I've never seen someone work so hard to start a series and get screwed by half the tracks you planned to race at...where the series had run in one form or another for years at both locations! As there are many fish in the sea there are many drag strips in the Midwest. I know the discussion has happened elsewhere on this forum but I do believe Pittsburgh or Quaker City in northeast Ohio are both worth a look! 412 SB Duster enthusiast 4 Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 310 Michigan	As far as Stanton go's it's falling apart, and getting worst every year. Now 131 is top notch track. All summer long it's full of NHRA/IHRA pro cars during the week. Would like to see 131 on the short list .
