Ouch..... I had outstanding luck with Jesel spotsman series stuff on my W5 motor, ran them for years, and the new owner still does. They hit 8k a number of times by mistake..lol..and never an issue.Sweet bulletproof stuff.
So.....I decided to call Jesel, and find out what if anything they offer for a standard style head, turns out they have an offering. Its part number KPS 09749 these require milling the stands to fit( an operation they offer for 100 bucks a head, you send the heads, they set them up. These arent the sportsmen series, they are pro series, and are 1600 bucks a set complete..Will handle 800 spring pressure, and clear a 1.600 spring( larger than would even be required) with no clearancing.
Not cheap, but at least an alternative i wasnt aware existed.

I think Dove makes their rockers and they use Pioneer valve springs, not good performance parts!!
They might be Probe pieces...
Poor performance parts are GREAT performance parts if you have the right salesman. Just don't argue with him, he knows best...

These new ones that are 649.00 treated are a new offering, not the chinese stuff they had before as the only choice. But i could be wrong.

After talking(or should I say, TRYING to talk) to 'em on the phone...
NEVER AGAIN...
Went with Harland's and ain't looking back...
You too? I just called them earlier in the week and I was a little put off by the attitude to say the least.
I ran the same set as 383man posted a pic of and I could never keep the adjusters from backing out. Yes their customer service guy was a smart ass. Looks are deceiving ! Go Harland s
My eng has been in my 63 since June last year and I have not had any adjuster come loose. I adjusted the valves once and all were tight. Ron
