I wouldn't use the aluminum ones but the stainless ones for what you are doing they would be fine, I have a set on my smallblock with a .512 lift hydraulic roller and no complaints. Ryan J has them on his bigblock street car with hydraulic roller cam and over 10,000 miles last I talked to him.

Thanks, Yes them are the ones im looking at. The Stainless Steel PRW ones. I was thinking them would be my best bet for the steet ability. Are them what you Run The S-S PRW rockers?

Lots of different 'purple' shafts. Why do you want to run roller rockers. You will gain little if any performance. Especially on the street. You may gain a little rocker ratio correction and therefore a slight gain but for the price rockers + push rods and running on the street if it ain't broke don't fix it. I might add that roller rockers are not made for a lot of street usage. They do come have a tendency with usage to come apart and put little needles through the engine.
Yes ive herd most of that information. And the Aint broke dont fix it part i already have to pull them off so im think i may as well go ahead. And the Set i was looking at im sure i can utilize the pushrods i alread have. If not im sure i can upgrade there to.
Thanks Jordan

Why do you want to put roller rockers on an engine that has a cam that clearly doesn't need them? You won't gain anything measurable performance-wise. Flushing money down the toilet IMO. Now if you were to ditch the .509 and go with a solid cam or a roller, then you would have a use for those adjustable rockers. Spend the money on something that will get you some actual hp returns for your investment.
Ahh i see. I dont build motors so i don't know to much. Im not trying to sound like an idiot on here either just looking for some good opinions like yours. so thanks for the input its much appreciated!!
Also during Break in period a coupple of the rockers had excessive ware on the bottom side were it rotates on the shaft. so i already have to replace them. I forgot to put that in

I have a set of PRW roller rockers on Da Beast’s 496 wedge. I have over 350 passes on them with no problems. I check the valves every 100 passes. I usually only find one or two that need to be adjusted and those will only be off a couple thousands. Good rockers for the price.
Do you use the stainless steel Prw Or the Aluminum Rockers, Thanks

Harlan-Sharp does offer a lower cost bushed rocker that is at least 200.00 cheaper than the originals.Better choice.

Then in that case I would just pick up some used stockers for cheap out of the moparts for sale section and swap out the worn ones. Most guys running the .509 cam are running stock rockers and I still believe that spending money on adjustables is a waste unless you're going to upgrade to a cam that requires them. I have a set of crane roller rockers waiting to go on my engine, but I also have a solid cam that will be going in.

.......Keep in mind stock rocker arm ratio is somewhere around 1.42.
I always wonder if those that make this statement have actually measured this with repeated results, heard it from someone else, or read it in a magazine? The number seems to get lower and lower over time as well.
The ones that I have measured were nowhere near this low.

Nobody's bickering, just throwing the info out there. Other guys can read it too and gain from it. Your wallet will be lighter and your engine will run the same, but if you've decided you want them that's all that really matters. I personally would be apprehensive about running the PRW rockers over a better known brand like crane or similar. Haven't heard anything bad about the PRW rockers but plenty of stories about the el cheapo china rockers letting go sending bearings and adjuster bits through your engine.
I had a set of Cranes on my 360 for over a season and went back to the HD stamped because I didn't gain a thing and some one else wanted the "WOW I got roller rockers" factor.
