Well the guys that built my Chassis placed the engine to where one of the oil pump fittings interfere with the frame. Are there any Oil pumps that have the outlets for the remote filter adaper exiting from the side or rear of the pump instead of the front?
Thanks, Jim

Not that I have heard of or seen, sorry I have used a 45 degree fitting in the past out of the Milidon pump cover for the external oiling but a male straight pipe to AN fitting is better to use in my opinion and then use a sweep 90 degree fitting on the hoses Take it back and have them fix it

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MIL-21235/ Would this work. Use a remote filter The lines still go in front but there may be more flexibility

Thanks, I have a spare milodon that I might try and modify to come out the side instead of the front. I seem to remember that there was a nice Kieth Black pump, very pricey though. I can't find it though.

That thing going to hit the track soon Jim? I sold the Mirada after a 28 year run. Going to be out in our 70 Duster in the spring hopefully. Going back to the "no fuss" 11 sec combo.
Hopefully I'll have it at the Thanksgiving race but it's going very slow due to my work schedule. I work out of town 90% of the time so I'm hoping to get enough time to get it together by then. Should run mid 9's in Vegas. Hope to see you some time in the spring, that Duster of yours is kick a$$.

Another view.
It looks like I can make out the last part of "engineering" on the pump so I'm guessing it's AR Engineering.
Paging Andy, thanks!

Yes, I made that part. It was for a guy with a Jensen who needed the oil lines to come out in the certain location. It worked really well since the oil flows in a straight line rather than having to make some right angle turns inside of a cast housing.
That wasn't a standard pump cover and it cost a bunch of money to make. Sorry, I don't have any on the shelf to sell.
Thanks, Ill try and put caps on mine and then drill and weld fitting on if you don't feel like making one. If you do, just pm me with a price and I can give you a deposit or pay in full in advance if need be. Thanks---Jim

not to hi jack but moparmanjames do you have any inter. shoots of your duster??? what do you think it is going to weigh????oh 1 more stock frontend/tube/or strut
Well I've been a little lazy taking pics but here's one, The car will probably weigh around 3000# since I'm keeping all the glass in it and the only fiberglass is the hood. It's a coil over front end and 4x3 tube chassis.
