Just wondering wich rear housing you guys perfer.I have a moser housing setting here. Not happy with with the tube engagement or the meat around the pinion at all.Alot of money for something that looks rather inferior.Have read about issues with the moser tubes breaking away from pig in high hp cars.

Buy a 9" if breaking it is a concern.

Yeah, Right! dem high dollar nine inches are industrable Ask anyone who has ran a stock nine inch in any car that has some power and hook The nine inch Ford design robs more power do to friction loss than any other late model design out there I'll take and use a Dana 60 any time over a 12 bolt or Ford nine inch type rear end OP, look in your local wrecking yards or recycle yards for a used Dana 60 out of a 3/4 ton van or pickup and have it built for your car I bought one out of a 3/4 ton Ford pick up, it has the 3.125 diameter axle tubes, plenty stout and non destructable with all stock parts except the spool and required after market 35 splne axles

Strange it is!I have a brand new moser dana 60 housing setting here. The vent hole is installed pointing towards the cover. The drivers side tube is warped between 1/8 and 1/4.I had a hard time sliding my bar thru the main cap pucks when torqued.Very disappointed with the quality of this housing. The bare housing with ends loose was over $200 more than a strange housing.I wish people would listen when I tell them what to order.I have all strange housings for a reason!

In hindsight I wish I'd gotten the Strange 60 simply for the threaded adjusters, but my Moser 60 has been FLAWLESS for the past 9 years. 3 years running mid 10s, the last 6 running mid 9s...plus a bunch of street miles.
