I'm looking for a good quality electric fuel pump for a carbureated daily driver. One that isn't made in China (okay, maybe I'm asking for too much).

Any recommendations?

Carter's a good one & so is this Holley Gerator pump.
Had it on my Hemi Challenger & its quiet compared

We have had the red Holley pump on my sons Dart since 1997. Its the one that does not require a seperate regulator. If a little noise dont bother you it works great but some dont like the noise. Ron

Holley Red is what I'd use.

Mallory 4110 pump doesn't need a regulator and would work good.

Ron. Hoping that the finances allow you to come up to E-town for the NSS trials. Would like to meet you and put a magnifying glass on that sleeper of yours.

I like the Carter as well.......

I like running the Carter electric to the Carter mechanical, never run low on pressure or run too much pressure to need a regulator...

If the weather holds out, I feel a good turn out is possible.
I'm planning on running in the NSS AF/X class while fine tuning.

Thanks man, that is helpful. I originally put this on just to take care of hot starting issues (and it worked perfectly), I have put a few good runs on it and it seems OK. But like you say it could help it to have more flow before the pump. I'll probably add that to my list of winter projects.

Cool, the fuel pump is perfectly located, close and below the sump and behind the fuel cell.
And being so close to the outlet helps a bunch and may even allow it to work for you most of the time the way it is.
But a non restricted flow of gas to your pump will make the pump last longer and operate quieter.
It will shorten the life of the pump at the very least the way it is now.

I went with an Aeromotive stealth 340. It mounts in the tank.
