I'd think both solid mts would be too much vibration. Are your current mts sagged a bit & if not & it's just poor header fitment/stackup of tolerances can you space your mts/eng up slightly?

Having both solid mounts is pretty harsh on a street car, been there done that. There are a few options. You could install a solid mount on the drivers(torque) side and leave the rubber on the passenger side. or I would check your current mounts to see if they aren't broken or badly worn and replace if needed, then add one of these. http://www.engine-swaps.com/Pages/ProductsType/TorqueStraps.html#head4Or if you want to do it on the cheap just get a strong small section of chain.

I ran a solid mount on the drivers side of my 71 RR for years. I ran the normal rubber pass side mount with the poly trans mount. I never had any problems.
I am truckless..

I'm running a solid on the driver side of my 360 Barracuda with no trouble. I have read that solid mounts are trouble with high power engines and tires that hook. If the tires hook hard, the solid mount can crack the ears on the block. My car won't hook up that hard so no trouble.

A mag mount or polyloc mount on the driverside do a really good job on a street car. Much like solid mounts, running them in pairs is too much vibration. I've got a single mag mount I'm not using. PM me if you're interested. These are normally only sold in pairs.
