How about Mini Spool

Thats right ! a lot of dirt track guys run them. Not sure how well they would hold up drag racing. I have put 4-5 of them in dirt cars.

So no good for drag racing then!!!!!

Yep, it's a mini spool. We ran one years ago never a problem...

As with any spool you should have aftermaket axles.
The real disadvantage with a mini spool over a real spool is weight.
The advantage is you don't have to set up the gears again.
Cost for the part is less then a real spool but not by that much.
