Would a 15x9 wheel with 6 1/2 backspacing work on 71 scamp? Done away with springs. Has a Martz chassis 4link now.. thanks

Brett, that wheel will work for clearance on the outer side of the axle (distance from axle flange to quarter panel) but it may be close on the inner wheel tub. It may rub the inner tub if you're not mini tubbed.
My Dart has a 15x8" wheel with 5.5" backspace and a 1/4" spacer to move the wheel away from the inner wheel tub/spring. Without the spacer it fit, but it was a little close for my comfort.
