FWIW, here are your tags mixed in with similar sequence numbers and SPDs. The 426 cars are A12 cars.

So I guess the real question is do you want to find the SPD or the actual date. It would appear that your car was built 1147 units early.
Doug and Dan; May 4th and 5th were a Saturday and Sunday. Any idea what the plants production days/hours were for the weekends?

I don't. I do know that I have six to seven consecutive days of SPDs at the 1969 STL plant so there was (presumably) work on Saturdays and Sundays.
I would think weekend production would be 'seasonal' depending on the time of year, total sales volume, plant production capability, if one plant had to pick up production because another plant was down and things like that.
A nice thing about a large plant data base is it gives you a better idea as to production volume on a per week or per day basis.

1969 St. Louis plant VINs, SPD, and VONs. Over 2,000 thanks to you!

What I was thinking is that if the SPD was 506 (Monday) and the car was 1147 early then depending whether they worked that weekend makes it hard to say if the actual production date was thurs/friday or on the weekend. My car's VIN is WM23V0A185788, the sequence number is 185226 which makes it 562 cars early. The SPD is C18 which was a Thursday so my car was probably built on Wednesday, December 17th 1969. fun stuff. Dave

With Automotive production there are many variables that changes the actual date that is considered a cars build date. I have found that every year or type of car had its screw ups after the fender tag and broadcast sheet were made. With E Bodies I believe it has to do with the options that were ordered and how available these option were and how well the production plant kept track of the parts needed to for the build. I thave found at the end of the production year parts were not tracked as well as during the year. Maybe this is because of holidays or students or new employees in May June and July. I would think that an A12 build might have similiar problems with attaining the special parts it needed.
Now any of you guys have any theories on why A12 Road Runner production stopped much earlier than A12 SuperBee Production or does your research tell you something different.I judge this be looking at VIN numbers and Super Bees being much later. The only real difference in the cars from normal production car is the hood from Runner to Super Bee.
