VIN is
WS27U0G127559
Is that the car's real VIN#? If so, it was (scheduled to be) built the same day as this "TOP BANANA" '70 Coronet R/T convertible.
Pics from '04 - anyone recognize the locale?

When you find a "promo" car that was built in mid-August of '69, most of the remaining 295 R/Ts were built after it. (the OP's car about 5 weeks later) 296 R/T convertibles built at a plant that assembled 158,000+ cars for the 1970 model year - on average that's 1 R/T convertible every 534 cars.

Since you can scan the tag you drew, why not a high resolution scan of the tag until you can take a quality photo? Most of the " Fender Tag Nazis " on this site were born, but they weren't born yesterday. Two attempts at deception concerning fender tags does not go over too well here. Try this site www.camaros.net

Yet another noob scared away by the Moparts Police, nice job, guys.... Apparently he had the title right to begin with. I would have loved to find out more about his dad's cool car, now that will never happen.

I have seen your car at the Wexford car cruises so i know you are local. Do you know Lou Hudacek on rt.8 in Gibsonia ? He could look at it and help you. I have his number if you need it.

He has Jim , search his posts , he has been posting about the car since he became a member.
Too bad the tag got lost, the car still is what it is, 70 440-4bbl R/T convertible, it's not any less a car missing the tag if he has no intention of selling it.
If he had done a little more research he would have not used a partial Lynch Rd. tag layout for a St. Louis built car.
