Yea he ran some 8.90s with car. Took apart to get into the 1000hp range. Ron Rhoades with his dads car has just run 5.27s at the last two events. That is like a 8.30 1/4. His car is n\a and the events were 102* and 98*, so I think that car will fly when it has some nice air.

That is my car..I still have the car and motor. The car is apart and the motor is at Uratchko..To make a long story short lol made 10 break in passes with the car and could not get it to mph hits high gear and would quit pulling.ran 5.60 and 8.90 on 10th pass at Norwalk put it on the bumper and smashed headers flat it was the end of the season took it apart and have not got back to it yet. Chris has made some small changes to the motor.some head and intake work changed the cam and replaced the rocker to a solid body.I was running a set of mohawk rocker I bought from Tim Davis and they were flexing and I cracked acouple of them.motor made 982hp 2 years ago.should be well over 1000hp when kit makes it back on the dyno.

It would run the number..I was at 3100 pounds, the wrong set of headers and a heavy 727 trans also.I think I could get it in the 8.70 range the way it was.

Is there a website to the class?..I built the car to run Milan's all/motor heads up class, but it is around 3 1/2 hour drive for me and its on a Friday night..sorta hard for me to get off work in time.
I don't know how to post the link but if you look on Cecil counties Web site they have the rules posted or go on YB and look in the cecil section the rules are under the street car shootout section they race the first saturday of the month
