not much to say about my hemi, iron block, iron heads, eagle crank, manly rods, diamond pistons, mild solid roller. runs 10's all day long, weather it has a clutch or & auto. pump 93,5 gallons of 110 thrown in and shes ready to rock. i drive it thousands of miles and still put hundreds of passes on it.

for all out bracket motor though i have to vote for a wedge, they make big power and are a lot easier & cheaper engine to preform basic maintenance.

I have always thought that one day I might want to put a Hemi in my Dart, but I know very little about them, so let's hear what combos you hemi guys are running. The only thing that I wonder about is, if one day I do go to a hemi is the fact that i'm a bracket racer so I put lots of passes on my engine, and I'm just not sure the Hemi could hold up to 200-300 passes per year of round after round bracket racing, maybe I'm incorrect though, let's hear what all of you guys have got.

My 572 produces 1050 HP on Methanol and has over 250 passes on it so far with virtually no maintenance except changing oil and occasionally checking lash (it never changes).

Crower crank, Stage V heads, Comp roller, Fast XFI with XIM coil on plug ignition controller.

Get a copy on my book. How to Build max-performance Hemi engines.

I hope to have mine back from the builder (Dan Smith) in the next few weeks to start installing it.

It's a 572 with a MPerf/World iron block, MPerf/Edelbrock Alum heads, Keith Black 4.5 inch crank, Eagle rods, MP 10.5 pistons, MP Hydraulic 434/292 cam. I'm running a street Hemi intake with the Vanke mod and two 750 Edelbrock carbs, TTI headers and 3 inch exhaust.

I know, I know, the cam could be bigger but I'm more of a street guy who races some than a serious die hard racer.
I'm more interested in having fun than being the fastest.
Dan thinks it will be a torque monster with that cam.

I can always upgrade the cam later if I'm not happy with it.

What will it run? Good question.
I hope to find out in the next few months and have it dialed in before MMW Indy.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

My pump gas 572" Hemi has been troublefree since 2006 and runs 9.50s at 140 mph in a 3800# sled. It's 11:1 compression, mild solid roller spec'd by Dwayne Porter, DLI rockers, MCH ported MP heads, Indy single plane w/ a Dominator, etc. Milodon deep pan (conventional center sump style) w/ the Milodon single line external p/u oil system. Only has 7.5 quarts of oil in it. Shift at 6800, cross the stripe at 7100-7200.

Chip, I think you have always had one of my favorite combos. It's got all the right stuff, and performs impressively.
