What's a good option here? I have a repo looking ebay regulator on it. Looks OE but with electronic guts. I think it just died. Lights started flickering, ammeter jumping from coast to coast, then it just quit charging period. Is the MP regulator for 69 back a better idea? the car does have electronic ignition and MSD.

If you mean the blue MP constant voltage one I would say no though some have sucessfully used it. I would just replace yours with another electronic one & mrrandy on here sells one that looks OE with the black cover but is electronic inside for $28 or $29 to your door but there'd be the shipping wait & you could just get an electronic version at your parts house
