using an aftermarket dualpoint with the 69 hemi. It is an Accel, it was with the motor when I got it. The Distributor cap is larger than what I can find for dual points caps at parts store. I cannot see a part number of the cap. Any idea of where I can get one of these?

The accel dual point does not use a stock chrysler cap ... but you already new that .

Check with Joesixpack/Bill Cowger , he might have one .

I have a old mallory duel point dist with the flat 2-piece cap,I got a change over cap with female terms for it.

Napa looked it right up in the books and had it on the shelf. in another town though.

I have orderd accell tune up stuff from them also,may give them a shot if they have a good counter clerk and not a counter jerk.

My 69 GTX had an Accel 30300 dual point when I got it, MP electronic now. Local parts store found the Accel parts in 1996:

Points 110128 (two required)
Rotor 130116
Cap 120123
Condensor 100107

Accel dual point distributors used a 1955-1956 Chevrolet V8 distributor cap.....get one with brass/copper inserts,do not use aluminum(silver)contacts.I have black,red and tan ones in stock.
