have a challenger r/t and have some mopar bucks to spend and was considering about putting on a mopar cat back exhaust system with the retro look dual tips

how much louder does that make the car sound, particuarly inside the car

i dont want to have a constant drone while driving, and have to have the radio up to block it out, or have to talk louder to passengers in the car

any input?

I have a mbrp cat back, with long tube headers the sound was fantastic, with stock exhaust not so much. Too friggin quiet for me.

if you want it a tad louder, remove the resonator.. use the mopar money for a cold air intake.. and some other goodies..

I got an 09 RT about 3 1/2 years ago when they first came out.

I cut out the huge "suitcase" front muffler and left the rear resonators on.

Pipe welded in to replace.

Cost- about a tenth of a cat back system.

Sounds great.

Went from a 13.32 to a 13.21 stock in the quarter,
factory tires, the works.

on the chargers at least, the MP kit is a rebranded corsa sport.
