Actually it takes about 1800 hp to run up front. I need a 1.15 to 1.18 short time to get where I need to be. The tire is amazing. I've seen a 1.13 sixty at 3200#. I will weigh 3275# with the Procharger. I bet I hit near 2000 hp on the dyno! The Challengers long wheel base is a plus. Going to run a 2 speed turbo 400 by Proformance transmissions and a PTC converter.
I would like to see some progress pics of your challenger sometime

A W8 would be a good choice as well. But I think I can make more power and have a more durable head. I think my old motor would run 4.80's with more stroke and my old heads. But since a 4.65 is the new record I figured this would be the best route. Also finding an unused set of W8's is not as easy as a new set of billet heads you can cut and shape how you want them. These heads are 100% set up for a blower. Smaller intake valve, larger exhaust, bigger combustion chambers etc. We will know in a few months! Will keep all posted.

Don't worry Ray I wasn't referring to you. It seems this thread was edited since the last time I read it. Some one said Marty was just wasting his money. I don't see that post or the ones following it anymore....
the comments are on the page named Cinder Blocks which someone else started. Which is exactly what they look like without the valve covers. My goal is to have the worlds fastest Mopar small tire car and hopefully be able to set the X275 record in the process. The car may be sent to the east coast to run a few select events in preparation for The Radial Revolution in September. Jason Lee will be behind the wheel on races I can't make. Gonna need a lot of testing to get it done!

My bad, I knew I read it somewhere. I can't wait to see results. What's the ETA on the project?
