Cross section starts at about 4.5SQ"(ave) and is 2.95SQ" at the flange should make real nice power 4000rpm to 7500~7800rpm. This will be matched up with set of my CNC W9s on a street/strip car. I have done it both ways I don't think it has much affect on power but I have not done back to back test to prove that. This is for lower RPM street strip car so may help at lower RPM.
