Has anyone tried the new fbo non ballast setup? It sure went up in price, but I am considering it.

Last Iheard they were not being shipped yet. Must be having production problems or something?

FBO has my second generation ECU (first non ballast FBO ECU) to rework into the third generation ECU due to warranty issues.
I emailed last week and they are still working on it. I sent the unit to FBO in October for warranty and I still don't have it back yet.
I wish good luck to FBO on this new unit because the second generation unit only lasted three months on my weekend cruiser. Their first generation ECU (ballast unit) worked great on my car. Hopefully this third generation unit works just as good as the first one.

Why not just use the chrome box, with the msd VR, and napas best coil? been in my car for 7 years shifting the 4 speed at 6,500 rpm without a problem.
