found this on PRO-SYSTEMS site , never heard of it before,thought I'd share it with you guys that may never have seen it either.

Back when I bought a Demon carburetor from Don Gould @ FBO, I opted
for the bottom-fill needle and seats to prevent fuel areation. I don't know
if it helped but, sounds like a good idea.

I started doing it recently but who knows if it helps but the "path of least resistance" theory comes to mind.........

I've also seen shear plates with neoprene sandwiched in them
to keep engine harmonics from the carburetors, to keep from
"buzzing" the fuel into foam. It also aided in lower BSFC.
