Well, we'll just fix that. I'm heartbroken that my friend Donny feels that we slighted him.
Match race, eh? I'll start checking with my bookie to see the early line...

I am seriously considering coming to the event since it is a short drive and only one day.
Is a four speed with a two-step legal? I'm assuming "no electronics" means no delay boxes, but I would like to confirm before deciding to attend.
Can you change your dial between rounds as long as it ends in a "0"?
Thanks, Matt Welker

Yes to both. Two steps, four speeds are just fine. No delay boxes, matte boxes, and stuff like that.
You can change you dial, but it still has to end with a zero. That gives a tenth (or two) either way, up or down.
This is a fun race, and we will use generally accepted NSS rules found in the northeast. Dialing to the nearest tenth generally creates more all out racing. A tenth difference is a lot to make up, either way, and it levels the playing field from the bracket "sharks" who tune everything with a computer. Everyone is as competitive as anyone else....it gives us geezers as good a shot as the young guys!
Hope to see you there, Matt.

Bob, Can you clear one thing up for me? I can only make it out for Friday due to family activities. I was going to come out and Test and Tune on my Dart and bring my son along to check things out.
Can I just enter and pay for one day of Test and Tune on Friday? If so, how much?
PRP's website says "No Test and Tune" for Friday. The Flyer has weekend prices and $20 on Friday, but I think that's to enter the Gambler's race.
Thanks Bob,
Larry
I believe you can come Friday and just run time runs and not enter the gamblers race.

I can't speak for anyone else's "attitude", but I can speak for Bob, Ronnie & myself...and everyone else involved.
Let's make this a fun deal....have some fun hanging with the other racer guy and gals, and just enjoy messing around with our cars. I've long since given up the idea of making money at this, and if I want to be aggravated I'll go to work, so let's have some fun.
