no difference in the wheel. center caps vary. The a-body uses a different adaptor can for a rimblow. E-bodies use the same crush can for rimblow and non-rimblow.

I've seen it posted here on Moparts that there is no difference yet I've owned three Challengers coded for Rim Blow wheel & all three had the wheel with the sharp bent in the spoke as opposed to the softer curve most wheels have.... I was told about this difference many years ago by someone thats been into these cars longer than I have & I bought my first Challenger in 74-75....

I never noticed that before. Are the part numbers the same? I can dig mine out and get a number. I think mine came off an a-body.

Part number is the same & it could just be a vendor change but I've never found an A body with the sharp bend & I've owned three E bodies coded for rim blow two from Hamtramck & one from LA & all three had the sharp bend....

I've restored hundreds of rimblow steering wheels and can tell you, They are all the same wheel, same part number, same vendor. What you're seeing is the inconsistancy of mass production at it's best for the time.

You can't be serious, inconsistency? They came from two different press dies... I can't say 100% why there were two press dies but that's not an inconsistency......

Mass production - multiple dies.

Just a theory.

I'm probably wrong ....... , but I thought I read somewhere that Eastman Kodak made 'part' of the rimblow wheel ?

Here ya go Randy.

I'll post a bunch of side by side pictures of the 2 styles of spokes.

Same part numbers but I don't know how the rest of the spoke can be exactly the same and only the bend is sharper ... or softer if they are coming out of the same stamp die???

I agree, there had to be separate stampings. Just my opinion ...
