Anybody out there have the stripe measuremeants for a 72 road runner trunk. Thanks, JOE.

I have to go measure them. They are original on my car too. I have seen multiple though and they are very different. They were painted on at the factory and whoever was working that day . The job must have been done a little different each time. Some are really wide others are skinny. I'll get back to you later after I measure and take pictures.

I thought they were a decal, not painted on?

Sorry,V21,V25 were not tape. They were paint. I measured mine today. They are 2 3/4 from edge of decklid.1 1/8 from bottom of decklid. And 13 1/4 across The outer black line is 1/4 wide then 1/4 inch wide vehicle color then the black starts again. Hope it helps

The factory drawing above shows they were tape. They are listed in the parts books as tape. You can't buy a paint stripe from a parts book. I am confused.

Sorry, maybe they were tape. My car is paint. And I have original paint on trunklid.Or so I thought. Maybe they were stripped off early or the dealer did a quick repair and repainted instead of tape. I just took for granted that the stripes were all painted on like mine. I know the 72-74 charger hood bubble was painted on. Also a quick note. While googling the v21/v25 trying to prove you guys wrong,unsuccessfully. I saw the 1972 Sebring Plus had v21/v25. That blew me away.
