Has anyone else used the boxed tubing XV Motorsports lower radiator support? What is everyone using for a replacement radiator? My Factory 26" Radiator no longer will fit. The bottom of the rad hits the upper portion of the tubing not allowing it to sit down all the way.I welded it in with their supplied drop pieces & it is obviously not enough of a drop but anymore & it would hang way to low looking from the front.

I installed it in my 70GTX withOUT the extensions on the bottom. I have installed the radiator from the same 07 Charger I got the 5.7 hemi from however, so I cannot respond to your particular issue. I can say the Charger radiator and attached A/C Condenser fit just fine. All I had to do was weld two "Flanges" to the bottom of the rad stiffener for bottom support/rest for the radiator I used.

On my 68 A-body, I have a similar design US Cartool lower radiator brace set back from the radiator enough to clear it. I also used the spacers to lower it.

good luck buying one - they have been trying to sell thier blemished ones for over a year now - and every time I call the answer is still the same - "maybe next month". I decided to make my own outta 1.75" .120 wall DOM tubing - worked great.

I used an aftermarket radiatory for my car, here is the cross member in my car. It will depend how far forward you mount it on the frame rails i'm guessing if you are going to use the factory radiator.

I mounted it in the same factory location not thinking about moving it forward any. Don't know if I could have gone much further forward. I am probably going to be using an aftermarker light weight rad of some sort anyway. I was just cleaning up the garage a little & had a factory laying around & decided to set it in my engine bay to keep it out of the way & that is when I noticed it no longer wil fit. Anyone no of a rad that is not so tall but is the same 26" width?
