I know REED, He is a VERY good guy to talk too. He is a foremost expert on pretty much any old school mopar race car. I wish I lived closer to Kearney, Id be in his shop BSn with him as much as I could. Top Notch Guy!!
I think he has one of Soxs Colts if I recall correctly.

I was just curious if any 79 models would have been made...I am pretty sure the Mitsu challenger was the better set-up.
The oldest one I could find was a 1976 model.

I like the blue tin work. Thats an ear mark for a certain tin man. I cant remember his name . I think Reed Keoppe now has 3 hemi Colts. 1 Arrow and one Omni.
So the bartender says to the horse " Gee, Why the long face?"

Fred - you have got a ton of cool pictures. I really liked this stretched look. Looks safer. HemiFred stretched colt.

This one was owned by Gary Swank of Mansfield Ohio, back in the mid 80's. He had a Max-Wedge/727 in it, if I remember right it went 9.60s. This pic was probably taken somewhere in Ohio, but it doesn't look like Norwalk, Trails or MCIR.(?) The car was a Don Hardy car, supposed to have been a Rod Shop car, and was set up for a Hemi/Lenco when Swank got it. It would be interesting to know where it ended up. It was a handful on the big end even when running in the nines...the P/S guys that drove these Colts had to have been nuts!
