He ran into what I found when starting to look for tires on a muscle car with 18s. There aren't a lot of "middle of the road" options, either a short tire or a tall SUV tire. The 275/40/18s he is running are 27" tall, I ended up with the 295/45/18 that comes out to 28.5" tall, just clears it up

I run 245/60/15's on my dads 68 charger on 15x7's with no clearance issues at all. I can snap a few pics if you would like. They fill up the wheelwell nicely.

Herb,I have 265-50-15 coopers on the front of the Charger,but I think they discontnued that size as well.Try Hankook (I have used them) http://www.hankooktireusa.com/Product/pr...;FnCode=02.They still shows 265 & 295 50-15s in their H101 line,D
