Thanks Cody

I'd like to know if this Master cylinder is the original, appears to be dated K 1 8 ? Possibly a 9

Original wheel cylinders ??

Previously rebuilt and looked good. No pedal at all. Brakes were wasted and nasty.... not any more

Pretty sure the drums are all replaced, but the front hubs had the original grease seals...

Cinco DeMayo draws nearer...happy Birthday Dirty Dart. As an Albuquerque (505 area code) NM car this is too cool

Yeah, I may be a bit out of my league on this one. Theres very little that has been changed. The exhaust is in nice enough shape to detail the bends, and many flat spots. The under body shows the wheel well undercoating patterns, paint drips and primer well too. The rear dif still shows it's pencil markings. I thinks there's a V-belt under the drivers seat. Original V-belt?

Been on the road for a few weeks and just came across this thread, too bad as I just went through Albuqueerqe, I would have loved to check it out! I need to take detailed pics of the 340 4-speed combo I took out of a 69 Formula S convertible that is sitting on my shop floor, the more these turquoise engines are documented the better!

Bob- that was me in that thread over on the A12 site (I'm R4Bee). And yes, both the Bee and the Dart used the same master cylinder.

Now guess what? Remember helping me bleed the brakes on the Cuda many years ago in prep for her ride home?

I'm about to go bleed the Darts brakes in hopes of her inaugural run and can't help thinking how it all ties together

Even the Street name where the Duster now resides is a pretty cool coincidence

Nah, I am fighting hard not to spend $$ on this one YET. The Cuda's not done yet.
I snapped it up simply because I waited years to get it, but now have to repay myself for it. My wife's awesome and never said word.
No fear some detail pics and a little work will happen but if I touch it too early I'll get sucked in All I need to do is bleed the brakes, rebuild the carb and replace the standard tune up parts and she'll probably be a ready to drive

Gee, I wish my mother was like that. I am pretty sure she would kick my butt out the door if a 40 year old car (or any car for that matter) showed up in the driveway one day. But this is definitely one car I will be waiting patiently awaiting updates for. Man I love Darts.
