Still an issue with the headliner install, researching it now.

Here's something I don't recall ever seeing on other Cars I've owned. A caution decal on the jack

I was missing a pie tin so I bought one, not exciting but I chronicle all changes/upgrades (pay no attention to the mickey mouse master cylinder the OEM unit will go back on)

Someone educate me. What was the original finish on my Darts pinion snubber? Here's what I found after a soak in evaporust.

Natural metal finish. You need to change out your evaporust I believe. I noticed it would do that when it sat in there too long, or it was stuff I had used on several parts.

Today I just feel like walking away from the hobby for some reason.

Bob you are seeing some of the success of rust removers as well as some of the let downs. Products like Evaporust are great at removing rust....but also at revealing pitting. That's why I've had to buy multiples of various parts in an effort to end up with as many clean pit free parts as possible on my project. It gets old and expensive. BTW Ive recently tried a new rust remover called safestrustremover. It works like Evaporust but seems to do more parts before becomming useless. About $100.00 for 5 gals.

Thanks Brent and Scott. Scott you're right, but the evaporust wasn't the cause of my "issue". We'll call it a bad day

Here's a pedal pad review

Design pattern dimensions look correct

Now I know the contact surfaces are worn smooth but, the sides wouldn't be. It appears the texture is incorrect.

I'm pretty happy. Through contacting ebay sellers who had cars or parts from the same color interior I met ply472. He ended up having my steering wheel but it had a few cracks starting. Then he discovered his friend pulled one when building a race car and contacted me to co-ordinate the sale I'm finalizing the details now.... oh and I have another interior parts order in, and on the way.

I need front end boots if anyone knows where to find original replacement tie rod, and ball joint boots PLEASE PM me

MANY THANKS to ebay seller ply472

Sir, if you're a board member THANK YOU

No worries with this guy, went out of his way to help score me the wheel from his friend. Sold it to me cheaper than I had offered, and his packing was 1st rate too.
Pictures did not do the part justice

additionally I spoke with Mike at REM today and I think we've solved the headliner issue. A new headliner will be on the way.

Next should be dash chrome, exhaust and front end boots

Does your car have sound deadener in the front wheel wells? The last two original paint cars I have looked at do not.

My Legendary interior panels arrived. Can you spot the faded original? The rears did not come with holes, did some darts come minus rear window regulators?
