Hi-many many moons ago I added the MP P4349469 shift improver kit to a 727 I installed in my '76 D100 behind a 360. IIRC it contains a modified front servo, a blocker rod for the accumulator, and a spring for the rear servo? It was installed in conjunction with a 5.0 front band lever into a basically stock transmission I salvaged out of a Cordoba. Been so long ago that I can't even remember what it shifted like. Still have the transmission sitting around-I'm thinking about salvaging the stuff and installing it into a BB case 727 I'm going to rebuild to go behind a mild 400 in my '74 Charger, and installing the Transgo TF2 kit at the same time? So the question for the tranny gurus is-good or bad idea to combine these parts?

Thanks in advance
Jason

skip the 5.0 lever , use either a 3.8 or 4.2 , the Trans go kit comes with it's own servo springs , use them.

What effect will the accumulator blocker rod have in conjunction with the increased line pressure the shift kit provides?

Thanks
Jason

Transgo used to supply a blocker rod with the TF-2 kit but they don't anymore, it makes the 1-2 upshift pretty harsh. Some like it that way, others............

Guess there's only 1 way to find out right? Good thing the purchase price of the kit has been amortized over 25 years as it appears at the end of the day I may use none of it!

Thanks
Jason
