It is funny to see the little econobox in the garage, while the poor Dart GTS sits outside

You noticed the wife's 76 Colt! That garage was so small that it was the only car we owned that would fit in it! Besides, we had just got married so I was still trying to impress her. Now 30 years later I am out in the garage working on my Dart and she is pissed off at me in the house, funny how more things change the more they stay the same...

Ain't that the Dart that took out the floor of the Wells Cargo? There is a part of me that wishes you don't find employment at Billydeer. Because if you do, there will be no time to finish this project.

Yep, it went through the floor of my trailer, still pissed about that, and I will never buy a Wells Cargo trailer again! I will have plenty of time to finish it at the rate they are interviewing people.

What is the WW1 car????

I'm the CARETAKER of Weinstats '69 440 'cuda registry and have 104 of the 360 cars to date. 84 fastbacks/20 coupes. Always looking for new(REAL M-code) '69 440 'cudas to add to the registry so drop me a note if any are found or known. This isn't a publicly released registry. Thanks, Dave

WW1 refers to the Spinnaker white paint, and since Glen (who owns the white GTS) and I are old buddies that are also war historians we like the reference to the first war to end all wars...

WW 1? Jimbo, ain't that when you started restoring yours? When S. Spielberg brought out that movie WARHORSE, I thought it was about building a DART in FOX LAKE IL.? Call me before you head west.

Sorry 'bout that Dave, it is a 383 auto GTS white with green bucket interior w/green console and green top, black butt stripe.

Well she keeps fighting me the whole way, so nothing else has changed! I put the wiring harness for the headlights in and there are no wire tabs to bend to keep the wires up. I guess they do not weld them on the NOS pieces and I cannot find any new ones anywhere, so I need to get some off an old core support crossbar and bond them on and try to match the paint. Moving right along I find that the NOS fender on the driver's side has the headlight bucket mounting bracket clocked wrong and welded. I wonder what else I am going to find, but I WILL keep taking one step forward and two back until it kills me!

With all the epoxies out there I bet you could take panel adhesive and glue them in place.

Put the front bumper on today, I forgot how much fun it is to install a rechromed bumper with powder coated brackets. It took over 4 hours to make it line-up perfectly. I will put the grill and headlight bezels in tomorrow, wish me luck! Hopefully I can find the rest of the brake parts so I can assemble and bleed themm then on to the steering column and trans linkage, then finish-up underneath by the rearend, lots of little things to do there.

I just saw you relisted your Dart in the for sale section and I was wondering if you have made any new progress on this Dart. Or have you been busy working?
