Hello,

Congratulations Eddie on the seven. Ray keep him on the straight and narrow. Get to the end in one piece and you have it made. Thanks Monte. Awesome job all ya all.

Got this off Yellowbullet.com looks like Eddie made it in the 7's.

"Larry Larson and Eddie Miller are duking it out for top honors on Hot Rod Magazine's Drag Week 2008. Larson and Miller both broke the 7 second barrier with Miller in the 7.90 range and Larson with his new twin turbo setup with a 7.75 on a "soft" pass."

looks like he needs a little boost..get it boost.

I take full credit for Eddies 7 second pass.I talked to him a few days ago and threaten him that if he didn't get in the 7s that Hemi Fred and I was going to bust his stones and bury him in poo, since he can't come here and defend himself.WE don't need people getting peeoed cause a bunch of us friends razz each other here.We all are good friends here and when the chips are down we look after each other.Even if Eddie acts like a total Dork some times you got to respect his efforts. What you usually see here is for entertainment.People that get mean and personal or ignorant will not be tolerated.Try and be warm, fuzzy, sensitive, cute and cuddly, like me.Now let's thank ME and HemiFred for motivating Elvis.

" I set the wheelie bars and told him what to do with the nitrous and timing, but the rest is all Eddie

Monte "

Very well stated Monte. Thanks for the updates, and helping Eddie out. Funny how some folks give him a hard time, and ask for a repeat to prove he did a 7 pass...... jealousy at it's finest.

There are far and few racers who can accomplish what Eddy has done, ALL BY THEMSELVES, like some here seem to think is the way it should be.

Eddy may be on some's least favorite list from his internet words, but I suspect he deserves respect for what he has accomplished vs attacks.

Good luck Eddy and TEAM.

Allen

Guess I'm not Eddie, nor am I running 7's, but I know even when I broke into the 10's the first thing I wanted was to do it again. Seems to give it some validity or something (something to feed our performance oriented heads). Maybe that's the difference between, "I have a 10 sec car" and "my car ran 10's once". Not a bash so don't read into this too much. I think the poster that mentioned it was being a bit toung in cheek on it too. I'm betting even Eddie wants to "back it up"!.....and congrats on the pass Eddie. Job well done!!

Glad to see it all came together for him. The car looks much better with new wheelie bars on it too.

I'm glad he finally got his 7 for two reasons:
1. I won't have to read any more insanely long posts where Eddie promises a 7 and a million other people promise another 8 (I guess I never really HAD to read 'em, but they were kind of a guilty pleasure).
2. Eddie's worked hard to get his 7 and he deserves a thumbs up or two. So here they are:
Way to go, man.

Watch out for the orange camaro. My buddy tuned it and they only got one pass in before the trans went so he is helping him with the tune thru emails. That car has alot left in it.

Congrat's Eddie! It is so cool to see you run the number.

Now... did I miss something? Did Eddie get a permanent vacation?
