The game at Drag Week is to lay down a decent number on Monday, then survive the midweek runs and just do what is necessary to hold your position, get a run on Friday to complete the quest...THEN, and only then, Go for it!! I would have to go back and look at what he actually posted but seems he set the new wheelie bars up and gave Eddie some baseline nitrous tuning strategies. So in fairness Eddie is working on his own car. Eddie and his crewmember are the only ones allowed to work on the car once the event is started if I read the rules correctly. Not an Eddie 1/2" fine thread hugger just giving him credit for what he seems to be doing. Career best 8.02 @ 169 at 3050# and 10" tires small block power.

I think he always tried to over power the car.
