walkAbout, it sounds like you're missing the A01 light package harness...It connects all those components together...

It seems like that. As I don't wanna have the map light, the question is, how is the switch title light operated originally?

The updated A01 wiring shows it bridged to a connector called "to ignition switch lamp". Does it mean, there comes the ignition positive and the light shines all the time the ignition is on?
For my understanding this makes sense and I like to have it like this. Besides driving in the night it would also shine to the switches if you enter a tunnel or a dark area...

So I could it also connect to the ignition or maybe the ACC?

The ignition switch/ title lamps would not be on all the time the way the factory wired it...It's on the timed circuit of the relay...Which means it's tripped when you open the doors then times out after the doors are closed....
You could wire them to an accessory circuit and make it work whenever the key is turned {while you're running} but without the time delay relay{or other provisions} you'd lose the feature of the ignition being illuminated {to place the key before you actually find it} in the dark...

Thanks, at this time I don't have the ignition key light, so I will connect the switch title lamp to ACC for now. Let's see, what is collectible over the time (harness/delay relay)..

Here is an other good pic of the needed cable, which I borrowed maybe from here (sale section) which was then labeled dash map light.
