I have a chance to buy a complete rust free car that has been in storage since 1973..Under a shed so it does have the usual surface rust but no rot..
It is a 1952 Cranbrook 2 door 3window car.. I think it is a business coupe... Cool car for sure..
I can get the car for 800 and it still has the original I6 and 3 speed in it..

Did not know the cool factor of these cars.. The owner said that they made something like 550 in this body style.. I don't know that for sure but it is a very neat car..
I am going over there this afternoon to pay the man...
I know I do not need another project but I just cant see where I would lose money on this car..

Cool! Glad I'm not in a position to say bring it up to my house! That would just get me in trouble with the misses. Especially since we're in the middle of buying a house. But I'd love to build an old rod, and what you're talking about would be a perfect candidate...

Yea the wife was not that happy with me... I assured her that I could make some money on it if I started to sell it... Magic word is if...lol
Pay today and pick it up tomorrow as my trailer is home in the country... But I cam going to lock it down for sure...I wonder what a baby hemi would be like in it.... Like the 354 or so.. I can put one of the 426 we have in it but think it will be over kill..

“…..Not sure how well an old Hemi would fit. But then with a big enough shoe horn...” An old Hemi will fit just fine

Well the old girl has a hurt front fender.. So she needs a drivers side fender and I need some grille parts. The fella bought it from a local military guy who bought it new.. He wrecked it and post made him get rid of it... So now I own it..
Fot a whopping 500 bucks..

An old Hemi will fit just fine
They used a BIG shoe horn and a mighty big sledge hammer for that one...
