ricks_RR OP member R Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 165 n.h.	this is the first build and money is very little and if i had to do this over i would like you said taken out the body plugs and i would do it on a rotisserie .i started with the engine bay and removed everything and stripped it to bare metel then painted it and thought i would just putting it together and drive it but noooo. i after that started taking it apart more and more well here i am after 4 years and i still have not driven it but i know it is getting close. it is now time to start everyday to put more and more things back on it .my problem is finding all the pictures and drawing i took as i was taking it apart but i do know this has been fun. after it is done i will be looking for a new project but the next one will be painted flat black primer and i will have fun with it ( driving )in the rain ricks_RR

ricks_RR OP member R Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 165 n.h.	hi travis when i bought this car i did not know that it was a white one i was told it was but as i looked at it and the radiator support matched the vin and all that stuff i told myself dam i have to put her back in her color . my goal was to do just like you said paint her black and beat the hell out of her.but now i am glad i didnt do that the more i look at her i cant wait to drive to the first car show .i may just go out that day and rent a white tux and drive to the show with it on ricks_RR

If I did that, I'd do a green interior too, just to really get people going I have a 71 D100 that is white with green interior and I LOVE that old piece of crap. Hell, when we bought our 01 Mustang Bullitt (dark highland green) we were looking to buy the only new white Mustang GT in our region, but someone beat me to it Travis.. 70 GTX project, orig 440-4, 4 spd, track pack, FC7, stripper/street racer special.

ricks_RR OP member R Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 165 n.h.	this winter has been a tough one .i have learned so much from building this car from the ground up .i am putting together a photo album from the start to now. i know i will need help with a few things . there is one thing is the fresh air duct work .i have the air cleaner just need the plastic under the hood. has any one on this site bought and put on the air duct that is being sold in canada its a repoduction i just need to know how it fits ricks_RR

ricks_RR OP member R Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 165 n.h.	it came out good but now that it is almost done just small stuff . i did watch for the body lines and stuff like that but i did the car in peices first year striped and painted engine bay then two years later had hood fenders painted then two after that had doors and trunk done .and one year later had the body sodablasted and painted . all the paint matched but i know that there is stuff i should have done better so for right now i am going to drive her and enjoy her then i will put her on a rotissrary and do it a little better . i do miss getting dirty like i tell people i use to put gloves on to keep my hands clean and now i put white gloves on to keep the car clean ha ha ricks_RR
