The Hotchkis approach on building this car was to represent what a customer car. And not something super trick that a typical customer would/could not build. No aluminun heads, steel master, full interior, etc. About the trickest piece on that car is the steering quickner. Which is a under $100 piece, but takes some advanced fad work to make work.

They say it really made a big difference in the car. Even on a road course at speed.

There are some handling/pro touring car like the ones Detroit Speed and Engineering build that have over $100K of fabrication. Those are basically race car/kit cars with Camaro bodies hung over them.
