Mark, you want to keep the four vent lines coming out of the tank. My '71 Duster has them. I'll have to look for the production date. If you want to look at it some time let me know. One of those vents goes up to the front of my car.

Probally not The one from the front should be hooked up to the vapor return line in the stock pickup There is a vent hose that emptys into the filler tube for venting the other four lines That ends up making the emission package for CA with the non vented gas cap, it will allow air into the tank but the gas cap is a one way valve, inlet (suction)pressure relief only

My '71 Scamp had the 4 tube style tank as shown above. The line that went to the front of the car went to the breather in the valve cover. Since my tank started leaking I'm changing it over completely to the earlier style (already had a new tank I wasn't using) with the earlier filler neck that has the vent in it.

All four lines go to the vapor tube in the trunk, there is a 5th line coming from the vapor tube that goes up to the 3 inlet breather on the valve cover. My car is a 1/71`production 340 Duster.
Also, 2 vent hoses from the tank are 1/4" and 2 are 5/16", so there are 2 different sizes.

Rockauto.com has the spectra premiuim for $177 then subtract 5% discount and add shipping which usally isn't too bad. I bought one for a different car and it was about $20 shipping. Nice quality product from the ones I have seen.

If you don't mind, that would be great! Seems like a whole lotta plumbing that I can just do away with if I order the other tank ...
