69 Coronet R/T 440/4 spd
69 Coronet 500 Conv H code 383 4bbl/auto

I was over at Donny's on Sunday and was able to check it out. She's looking good, Dave! They're making some nice progress. It was the only car at the shop after I pulled mine, so it will probably get a lot of attention over the next few weeks. Can't wait to see it in color.
Excellent. They have everything they need now, so it is just a matter of getting it done. I think they have a 64 Mercury hardtop they need to touch up in the other garage, but it is nice to know that the Coronet is finally progressing. Body shoop hell is the absolute worst part of restoring a car as you know.
Coronet should look a lot like this when its done. (minus the vinyl top, wheels and some other things)

I'm glad you decided to keep it A4 silver, when I first got my R/T I though about black but when I saw how pretty T5 is I decided to keep it T5

After buying 3 sets of ramcharger outer boxes I finally have a mix matched set of 69-70's that I m using. Even an original hemi drivers side outer box. It was cracked from top to bottom and totally busted in a few areas, but I have it nice and straight now. This wasnt fun. Should have them painted next week, then off they go to air grabber restoration in ohio to get properly riveted back together.

Where is the place in Ohio? Curious, since I have an air box to eventually do myself.

Ok, I dropped by the body shop yesterday to give the painter some needed bolts and such. As the car sits now, we are very close to color on the body. The entire underside of the car has been sprayed with restoricks grey dip primer paint and overspray has been fogged onto it. Inner quarters have the sound deadener sprayed on, seam sealer on the trunk floor and everything is sprayed inside the trunk and bottom of the trunklid with base/clear A4 silver. Same goes for the inner doors, door jambs, engine bay and underside of the hood. Looking great so far. Im told I should have the car back by Early October. Getting exciting now.
