Figure out what front size and width tires and rims you want to run and then trim the fenders as needed I could run 26x15 inch tall M/T front runners on four inch wide rim (1 7/8 rear offset)with no problems on my 1971 Duster with stock, uncut front fenders. I bought a set of Moroso 7.10x15(27 1/4 hieght) and mounted them on a set of Centerline 4x15 rims with 2 1/8 rear offset and had to trim the front edges and remove two of the inner fender bolts bolts that hold the inner splash shields in the fenders Your call BTW, the front ride hieght plays a big factor on which ones fits and which ones don't

I recently went through this and every car/wheel combo will be different. I have 15x4 Welds with 2.25 back spacing and a 205/75R15(27.1in. tall) hit on the front edge of the fender by just a bit. A 205/70R15(26.3in. tall) fits fine. My car is fairly low in the front with only a few inches between the under-steering headers and the ground. I have the 70's on there for now but my go back to the taller tires when I get the ride height sorted out. First pic is the 26.3's second is 27.1's

thanks for the replys today we adjusted the dynamic strut rods to push the lower control arms back.we ended up with 3.5 degrees of pos caster this helped the clearance but its still close. unfortunatly we cant cut the fenders the body work is already done.the rim are billet specialties 15 x 4 buy 1.75 back space. we would like to have gone deeper with the backspace but the fabrication done to the spindle buy cap to make it front mount turns the tie rod mount towards the rim like an ackerman style mount. i am a little vauge on why ? would have thought it would have stayed in line with the ball joint!going to post pics if i can figure out how .somewhat computer challenged
