This 5/16 fuel line came off of my 1969 340 fuel pump inlet. It still had the original sheet metal spring clamp on it. There are no EV markings. It repeats EB and what looks like a date code? My car has an SPD of C09. Would this be the OE fuel line hose? It looks like it was never off the car.

Yes it's original and yes it's EB (that's the vendor initials, not a date code) KV is the other vendors initials Mopar used, the number following the EB is likely a date code used by the vendor but I can't confirm that as some vendors used odd numbers to do thier own internal parts management. I've seen EB on many Mopar applications, especially pre 1970 cars. Original 1966 Hemi fuel filter hose example here, the KV is a reproduction.

I had a plastic, non-Mopar fuel filter in line but plan to use an unmarked metal fuel filter. FYI,the filter had wire clamps on both ends as did the fuel filter hoses to fuel lines but the fuel line hose to the fuel pump had the three prong sheet metal clamp on it. I'm not worried about any judging or anything but it will look mostly correct.

The original fuel pump on my '69 340 also has the EB code, pretty cool that that was still there. And traces of blue paint on the fuel pump.

The "what appears to be original" throttle return looks red, not orange like the repop I bought...
