It may just be me, but I seem to recognize people more by their signatures and avatars than I do my their user names. Anyways, their are a few that always make me chuckle, and Unlawfl's was one of them. Here it is, as is the link.

I remember when the Mopar Muscle article came out Gary asked me to resize and host the first picture in the article for his moparts signature. Took two minutes for me to do but he acted like I just did the greatest favor ever for him.
Dammit today still sucks...

I don't have a picture to share, but I'll try to paint one, because the one Dale just shared reminded me of another neat time with Gary!

The day that Randy Bolig asked Gary and Steve if he could shoot thier cars for Mopar Muscle, I was fortunate enough to be there! The next morning, A dear friend of mine Ron and I, met Randy, Gary, Steve and Scotty, (Steve's bro) at the shoot site.
Gary and Steve both were taking it all in and almost like kids at a Parade! Neither one hardly believing thier cars were being shot for features in Mopar Muscle magazine.
Lets all be honest! We are all kids at heart and all of us dream of our cars making it in a National magazine!
I hate to say it, but in my experiance, a lot of people expect, to be in a magazine, regardless of if the car is nice enough or not. Well, not Gary or Steve! You could tell by the comments and actions, they were excited and almost amazed that they were chosen.
I finally had to hit them up side the head and explain to them, thier hard work had earned the features!
I don't want to speak for Randy, but! I dare say if I were doing the shoot, the mere fact of Gary and Steve showing genuine appreciation, was really refreshing and all the more reasons for deserving to be chosen.
Gary and Steve both are class acts and class people! No hinting, playing politics or sucking up from them, just genuine appreciation.

I appreciate them being my friend and I love them both!

I haven't posted any pics in a while so I want to make sure this works because I have a few more. I got these photos from friend, a great friend of Gary's and mine, Steve. Steve has known Gary since they were both 11. This is Gary and, as far as I know, his first boxer.....Gunner. These had to be taken when he was in his early twenties. It's a couple of great photos and I'll post more later.........but I still having a hard time dealing with all of this, so I have to stop right now.

Hey Stroked, that girl in the picture is the girl that works for "Photos to go". They are the ones that work out of the small trailer and will take your pic from the line and blow it up for you.

I look at that pic and think of great times.

I remember Bubba giving me a ride on the quad that he got hurt on. (We all sure laughed about that)

I remember the kick arse food.

I remember getting a CD from Steff (his band)

I remember Gary immediately telling me to get something to eat but only after he offered me a cold drink.

I remember us sitting there and laughing about pizza pizza hj.

Looking at that pic reminds me even what Gary and I were talking about that day...

It's like looking at that pic suspends a special time in all the lives of those sitting in it and being lucky enough to spend that little time with Gary.

Bubba.... you remember that ride in Johns Daytona?

I remember taking Gary for a ride in it and how cool he thought it was. Smiling from ear to ear he was...
