Hoping to fire the fresh built 318 this weekend:

'86 roller block +.020"
kb 167's .010" in the hole
J heads milled .030"
Eddy Performer
Eddy 600 cfm
Reground factory roller, 210@.050, .428"
Stock manifolds

Spark plug recommendations?

autolight 65 is what it calls for.

I mostly run this plug on all my SB engines.

for name brand,what ever cross over is listed.

good luck on the fire-up

I have Autolite 85's in my DD 318. Made in China now I understand. Any stock heat range will work for you. OT might read "breakin secrets" at www.mototuneusa.com (5 minute read) (30 minutes if you read at DogDays' comprehension level) EDIT the #1406 is lean, might go up 1 jet size (from 95 to 98 iirc) MORE EDIT I may be thinking 65's (& I just pulled one yesterday)
