Well it seems there`s no 1/4 mile events worth racing at so Irwindale it is this thu. night. Anyone else going? So, any predictions on my 1/8th mile et?

Thankxxx............I`m hopeing for a 6.12 but I noticed that my power band has moved up a bit due to the head porting and HUGE manifold plenum so may need the full 1/4 mi. to see the real benefits but we`ll see. Just another excuse to drink beers.

I mean stuck at an 1/8th mile track.............I really want to feel the top end charge and get that 9.78 or better........My tow can`t get me out there that`s why I`m "settleing" for the 1/8th that`s all. Still trying to get through the phone lines to make sure they`re open.

Dom your old 6.22 is worth your 9.78 ... But your old setup seems to fall off after the 1/8th.

But my fuel and charging system were jacked plus my motor was 5+ years old at that time so this should be an easy 9.78 in my opinion but, I`ve said that before.

how did you notice that? driving it on the street?

Yes.......it`s still plenty torquey but it just seems to pull way harder from 4000rpm`s up and George(who`s long time friend Ed Mosler who ported my manifold)totally agrees that it would change. Again HUGE plenum and over a coffee cans worth of alum. was removed.

It was around this time of the year at Irwindale BUT my heap had 5 HARD years of street/strip driving. Thankxxx Sledgie.....
