New Drive-shaft/yoke dynamometer. Need your help!

I have looked into strain-gauges to measure driveshaft torque, but IMHO g-force meters have become so cheap they have made the strain-gauges obsolete.

I use to do ALOT of strain gauging years ago and I
needed to do the same thing as the drive shaft torque...
I had our stain gauge lab build one of those 20+ years
ago... it worked great
