I just use the 66-67 sb water pump for pass side lower rad hose neck and the later 68-72 water pumps for driver side lower rad hose neck...unless you running an electric pump of some kind then this is of no use to you.

so the later model pumps have the lower hose on the driver side? I have an edelbrock high flow water pump that I scored for free, so it must be modelled after the earlier models with the passenger side lower hose outlet.

Did the drive side hose outlet stop in 72, or did it continue in all late model small blocks?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it carried on through to the Aspen Volare Cordoba line but some where the fan spacing changed...I remember I had to press the fan attaching block down on the water pump shaft to get the belt alignment correct on some small blocks I worked on.
