i have a 8 gallon cell in the cuda right now. just traded some parts for a 15 gallon aluminum cell.

i'm not quite sure how i want to fit it in the car with the spare tire well in there. or maybe just cut that out. also wondering if anyone knows how much that spare tire well weights

The spare tire well doesn't weigh that much. Unless is covered in undercoating . I'd leave it in to protect the cell. A little more cage than your car, but here's how mine is. Nevermind the "posts" the cell is sitting on. The car came with a junk pump and the guy raised it to prime the pump.

i already cut a huge hole in my well for the plastic 8 gallon's rather large sump so that is why i'm thinking of hacking it out now.

all good pictures. i appreciate it

Something else to think about.....

This is a street car, right? If you cut the well out, and put a flat trunk floor in it, the cell will be much higher and in the way of getting things in and out of the trunk.

This is what my son and I did to keep some room in the trunk and keep the weight lower

this is what I have for now! I plan on replacing it and sinking it down in with a custom fuel cell..
