If u were building a 572 HEMI to drag race in a 2800 lb car with auto and 4 link. What heads would you run and why. Seriously looking at either the Stage 5 or the New Indy heads with the 2.40 intake valves

Didn't think either of those could b used as water heads. Aren't they both billet heads. Dont want to use any puffers, just NA.
Sorry it didn't say one way or the other if it had water.

Hands down Stage 5 the castings are nice.
I would go ONLY with Stage 5. Great company that stands behind what they make, and their casting are the best. But remember, the 10 bolt Millenium head requires a custom intake like a Hogans.

Talk about overkill, you can get a set of the stageV big valve custom heads from Tim Banning and get him to cnc port them. Then you add the T&D's rockers to those or Rockerarms.com rockers. You are looking at 1500hp capable setup. Tim
That will run you $5000, $2500 for bare castings and $2500 for full machining. T&Ds apparently go for around $5000. Tim sells the Stainless rockers for around $3000.

i would not go with millenium heads they have prostock big chief ports, and only use GM prostock intake, valves are already insane 2.42 intakes with 6 inch stem, chambers are only 150 cc compared to 175cc on most. i would go with stage v raised port custom heads jobber is 2k bare 1k for valves, springs, cups, seals, retainers, bolts, gaskets, and 2.5k for complete roller setup with billet stands

Our T&D/Barton rockers are available for the Millennium head too and retail for $3,495.00
