what a terrible thing to happen to sutch a nice person. I only knew him from Moparts but it seams like I knew him forever.

I only just saw this and I am stunned.
Gary was the one who gave me a set of offset shackles when I had asked where to get them from.
What a wonderful person he was and what a tragic loss. My condolences to his family.

I don't even know what to say. It's a terrible tragedy. Just the sheer volume of replys here are a testament to the respect and admiration all who came in contact with him, have for him, whether in person or by written word. It is truly a sad day. My thoughts and Prayers are with his family and friends. Damn!

Very sad --- I was always impressed by Gary's knowledge and great attitude. Condolences to the family and all else close to him.

Still hard to believe such a tragic event happened.
I am someone too who never met him in person but seemed like our paths seem to cross regularly on Moparts even if words were not directly spoken between us.
I enjoyed reading his posts and Moparts and more importantly the world just won't be the same without him.

I've only met Gary and Nicki a few times over at Bubba and Krissy's house, they were very nice people. My heart is breaking for Nicki and the rest of Gary's family and friends, the sudden and tragic loss of a loved one is always so hard. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers,words can not express my sadness. RIP Gary !

As for me , mightymo, I had the privlege of knowing Gary for a couple of years, during that time we had a lot of good times and great memories.
Gary will be missed by all of us. I send my deepest sympathy to Nicki and the rest of Gary's family. This world will not be the same without him.

I happened on this site just a short while ago..I remember reading about Gary's car in the Mopar Muscle Magazine, but had no idea who this fellow was..He answered to a few of my posts and ideas and was always a gentleman...Too young...Too Soon...Too Much Too Live For......Race On.......

It�s so sad� I am fairly new to the forum and I only knew him as text on a page but I feel as though I lost a close friend. I was stuck in the traffic on I-75 that morning near the accident and had no idea, what a shock when I heard the news.

What a great bunch of Mopar loving people on this site and WOW what a presence Gary had on people all over the country.

Rest in peace.

Gary was a guy that always answered my posts, whether it was an "atta boy" for a new best et, or helpful info on a particular problem. I am currently ordering my QTP's in the size that he found for me, when I couldn't locate it in my catalog. When he didn't cross paths with me for a while, he would PM me just to see what I had been up to. While we never personally met, I always felt like I was sitting across the table from him when we conversed. I'm going to have a tough time dealing with him being gone.....don't know what else to say.

Man, I'm speechless!!!!! I've been off the computer for a week now and just was able to check the board and here I find this. Seems way too many of our national treasures are being wasted everyday. It saddens me to see such a young guy taken away for something that could have been prevented. My wife and I send our condolances to Gary's family and may he rest in peace in that he is now in a better place.

I don't know what to say. I meet him at the nats last year he seemed to be a great guy. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family. Greg

I am new to this forum, read thru it every night but dont post much since Im new to this forum and new to the mopar world...just wanted to say that im touched by the responses on here....im a cop in Los Angeles and can see that Gary was well respected here, wish I could of met him....I've always enjoyed his posts. If anyone knows of any of his fellow officers I think they would very much appreciate knowing about this site and this thread especially, i have known fellow officers who have been killed and oh man, its hard. All the feeling expressed here would be greatly appreciated by them I know.

Just at a lost for words...you just never know when its ur time, my partner and I had a accident yesterday also, ran into a light pole while rolling code 3 after someone who didnt see us tried to turn right into us. Airbags deployed, unit was totaled, but we both walked away with some scratches.....and then I read this, live every day like its your last.

Just wish I could of known him.

My condolences to his wife and family. I've never met Gary but like most others, saw his personality shine thru here on Moparts. He truly seemed to be someone worth getting to know and Moparts has lost a veritable pillar of its community. Truly a sad day.
